Using DECA Written Events for Project Based Learning
Do you love DECA written event projects but aren’t sure how to set them all up in your classroom? If yes, this workshop is for you! This session is all about setting up the logistics for incorporating written events into the classroom. Teachers will learn how to use a project-based learning approach while implementing DECA written events. This structure allows for ALL students (not just DECA competitors) to be involved in project-based learning while making DECA the foundation of the projects. At the end of the workshop, teachers will have ideas and tools to implement all the DECA written events into their classes. Ideas and Tools consist of organizational items for DECA written events and Project Based Learning and sample project breakdowns and due dates.
