DECA's Membership Campaign is an exciting way for all DECA Chapters to increase the visibility of the
organization and the excellent work that it does while earning rewards for the individual chapter.
The highlight of the Membership Campaign is DECA Week – this year, October 12–18 –
when DECA Chapters from all over the world celebrate this outstanding association with a fun–filled
PR blitz and a demonstration of DECA's value to the community.
New for DECA Week is the addition of DECA Serve Day. This is a day during DECA Week, chosen by the
chapter to concentrate its efforts on local or global community service projects. Imagine the impact of
nearly 5000 DECA chapters all doing community service projects during the same week! Whether you are raising
money for MDA, collecting food for a local food bank, sending Beanie Babies to children overseas or working
on another service project, DECA Serve Day puts DECA at the forefront of the national effort to include
community service as a part of all curriculums.
