Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education
The Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education is recognized as the national leader in advocating entrepreneurship education as a lifelong learning process. The Consortium is committed to the development and promotion of entrepreneurship education across the nation and the world. DECA is a sponsor of the Consortium's quality practices and programs. For EntrepreneurshipWeek USA the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education and the NFIB YEF have partnered through a sponsored activity to encourage more students to be exposed to the first step in the entrepreneurship process - Discovery - regardless of what course they are taking in their schools. The NFIB-co-sponsored "Ambassadors at Work" initiative will encourage teachers to use the Entrepreneur-in-the-classroom modules for helping students move their passion or hobby into an entrepreneurial venture. The Take Time to Teach (T3) mentoring program will help the teachers connect with small business people who are NFIB members to ensure that they have information for assisting students create their own entrepreneurial opportunities. Teachers who assist with making this happen will be identified as Entrepreneurship AMBASSADORS by the Consortium.
