DECA will reimburse talented teacher/writers for their submissions. Current compensation is $150 for a complete and accepted series event and $200 for each accepted Management Team Decision Making Event.

Here's how to develop and submit your events:

Choose the event you are interested in (e.g., Retail Merchandising Series) and print off the performance indicators and the sample event on the competitive events page. Download the writer's instructions and a template of an event to write in (see links below). Submit your sample event for evaluation, attaching a completed application form.

If your event shows promise, we will contact you to develop an arrangement (timetable, etc.) for future events.
